Nanette is an advanced physiotherapy practitioner specialising in Shoulder conditions. She is a member of BOA and works alongside Shoulder surgeons to provide precise management of their shoulder and upper limb conditions. She is an injection therapist and works both in the NHS and private practice. Nanette qualified in 2002 with a BSc in Physiotherapy then went onto complete her Masters Degree in Advancing Physiotherapist Practice (1st). She is qualified to provide injections and offer advice regarding further investigations and suitability for surgery. Nanette is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS) and in 2015 was awarded the Bess Travelling Fellowship. She has previously presented on a local and national level at various conferences and undertakes regular presentations to practicing clinicians. She has published various papers on the rehabilitation of shoulder conditions following surgery. Having worked in the NHS for almost 20 years, she has gained a wealth of experience in treating a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions in a large Teaching Hospital before specialising further in the management of routine and complex upper limb conditions. She offers specialist assessment of the shoulder and elbow and treats a wide variety of upper limb conditions, including following trauma, operations, instability and chronic long term conditions, both in adults and children. Presently she works across a broad sector including an adult acute trust, a specialist regional clinic at the children's hospital and the private sector and offers expert assessment and management. Nanette is now one of the region's highly regarded and most experienced shoulder physiotherapists and is well placed to work as an expert providing a highly qualified opinion on Personal Injury, Quantum and Clinical Negligence.
